A player squad was announced on 31 December [2] The final squad was revealed on 11 January [3] Two days later, Domagoj Duvnjak has been replaced by Denis Buntić due to an injury in the match against Serbia.[4]Ivan Pešić replaced Mirko Alilović on 16 January [5] Two days later, Marino Marić replaced Denis Buntić.[6] Alilović rejoined the squad on 20 January and replaced Ivan Pešić.[7]Igor Vori and Jakov Gojun were replaced six days later by Tin Kontrec and Halil Jaganjac.[8]

    Europamästerskapet inom handboll på grund av herrar , som fanns det e i ordningen, spelades inom Kroatien12–28 januari Beslutet blev tagna av EHF under kongressen i huvudstaden i irland den 20 september[1]

    Spanien blev för inledande gången europamästare efter finalseger mot land (som tog sig mot final på grund av första gången sedan guldet ).[2]
